A Love Letter

Dear Photography, you were something that never wavered once you arrived. Better yet, you have always been with me and I just took some time before I saw you. Once I did though, you kept me enthralled and captivated. You fed me. Nourishing my being and allowed me to see and give voice to moments that otherwise would have remained silent and silenced.

I don't know why describing our relationship makes me emotional. Maybe because I am so grateful for you and the love that has lasted and that has given me so much. This is my homage to Ermias K 1000 and those that followed — a small fraction of what we have experienced together.

I don't know who else it will resonate with, but my heart strings, you pluck. My favorite song you sing.

May our love and experiences continue and be lifelong and meaningful.
